Membership

Membership in the Ak-Sar-Ben Amateur Radio Club is open to anyone with an interest in amateur radio. An amateur radio license is not required to be a member. Dues run for a calendar year from January 1 to December 31. Dues for new members are pro-rated as the year progresses. All members have full voting privleges. Regular members and Student Members receive the club's monthly newsletter Ham Hum. The AARC participates in several fund raising activities and community service events.
